Gingerbread Warming House
Open November 19 to December 18
Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

In 2009, a new Gingerbread Warming House was created by building wall panels to temporarily
close in the walls of the picnic shelter in Toddy Jones Park and
then painting and decorating the walls.

A group of grade 12 art students at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School designed and
created 3D murals and these wonderful mural panels were attached to decorate the outside of the walls.

In 2010, another group of grade 12 art students at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School
designed and created textile banners to decorate the inside of the "Gingerbread Warming House."

Each year, the the hardworking crew keep adding new additions to the decorations they use
to make the Gingerbread Warming House the jewel of the festival.

Please be sure to drop by and view the wonderful artwork both outside and inside of the Warming House.
